Morgan was featured in an informative film Safe Sex for Men and Women that addressed AIDS education and prevention. A portion of the profits were donated toward the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Team. She also has led several other fundraising efforts to fight AIDS and has testified before the special Congressional Commission regarding AIDS Education. She is on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett's former assistant surgeon general asked her from time to time to sub for him during AIDS awareness programs. She also was host of an AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan received the Emmy nomination for her special episode of Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. Morgan was co-starring in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime along with Joan Rivers. Then, she began the summer season with Murder At The PTA Luncheon created by Von Zeerneck/Sertner. Also, it featured Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Her next film was Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan played a part in the thriller of psychological suspense that was exclusively produced for the USA Network garnering one of the highest ratings ever recorded by the history of the network.
